BEATS is a small charity, with no employees. Trustees work voluntarily.
There are no 'middle-men' between BEATS and our Indonesian partners.
This means that 100%* of the sponsorship money is transferred directly
to our partners.
BEATS maintains a close and personal relationship between its supporters
and projects, so that groups and individuals are able to choose to support
people and projects to which they can relate.
Thank you for helping victims of earthquakes and tsunamis through BEATS.
*BEATS' minimal expenses have so far been covered by the BEATS' Trustees.

available via the PrayerMate App (download from Google Play Store for Android devices).
5. Cheque donations (UK Sterling only) should be made payable to BEATS
and sent to BEATS, 47 Arnold Way, Bosham, W Sussex, PO18 8NJ.
6. For regular giving, download a
PDF Standing Order form, or set up a Standing Order yourself and tell us this has been done (Please use your surname as a reference).
Please tell us if you have a specific request for how you would like your donation to be used,
otherwise it will be put into general funds.
Please note that BEATS will always strive to ensure that donations are used as
requested, but reserve the right to allocate them elsewhere should circumstances
dictate.
If you have no preferences, and are happy for BEATS to allocate your donations,
you can be sure that your money will used effectively for our international
partners.
If you pay tax and would like BEATS to reclaim tax paid on
your donation, download a
Gift Aid form.
Do you like a challenge?
Organise a sponsored event; perhaps a cycle ride,
running, swimming, singing, dancing - or even a silence! Fundraising
platforms like Wonderful
or
Givewheel (allows fundraising for muliple charities) make it easy
to collect funds for doing something exceptional.
Have you thought about a Legacy?
By leaving a gift to BEATS, you'll be helping us be there for even more people
affected by earthquakes and tsunamis in the future. A gift in your will for
BEATS is a gift for people you will want to help because you know how hard it
can be when families are affected by disaster. Your gift can provide lasting
practical, emotional and financial support for those coping with disaster.
What could a Legacy provide?
A legacy gift could be put towards a wide range of projects, for example capital
projects such as the provision of new buildings, equipment, including the
rebuilding of earthquake-shattered homes. It could also be used for those
students who wish to attend university.
The kind of gifts you can leave to BEATS are:
A share of your estate (Residuary Legacy): Once you've worked out what you're leaving to family and friends, you can donate a share (or all) of what's left.
A specific sum of money (Pecuniary Legacy): Leave a lump sum to BEATS, by specifying an amount in your will.
A specific item: Perhaps jewellery, or any item that you think will be of some value to BEATS' work when sold.
